What is print design?

Print design is the process of designing visual materials for physical printing. It includes business cards, letterheads, brochures, posters, flyers, packaging and other formats that combine compelling visuals and clear messaging to engage audiences offline.

Why print design matters in branding?

Print design remains a powerful medium for communicating your brand in tangible form. Whether through stationery, marketing or promotional items, high-quality print materials extend your brand’s reach beyond digital spaces. Consistent and compelling print design can reinforce your messaging, build trust and contribute to a cohesive, distinctive and recognisable brand experience.

Brand-driven approach

At Brand Purist, anything we design must fit into your overarching brand system. First, we understand your brand and its visual language. Then we craft your printed assets following your existing brand guidelines. If necessary, we develop new rules after creatively extending your asset library. We take into consideration the format, materials and printing methods to ensure they contribute to a cohesive brand experience.

Key Business Consultants: entrepreneurial accountants from London

London-based accountancy firm, Key Business Consultants, approached Brand Purist to help define a clear brand strategy and reimagine their visual identity. As part of the brand implementation, we designed an on-brand brochure and stationery items. Clen typography, green colours and half-tone dotted treatment on photos help build a recognisable brand colour.

  • The project scope determines which designs we supply as print-ready files. Please let us know what you need when we’re planning your project’s timeline and budget.

  • Historically, we’ve worked with a range of print suppliers. Today, most of our work is digital, so we’re less able to recommend specific vendors. However, we’ll do everything we can to help you find a suitable supplier if needed.

  • Absolutely. However, for print design to be effective, we need a clear understanding of your brand – especially its visual identity guidelines – and its intended audience (e.g. internal or external).
