Founder, branding specialist, designer

“At four, I was already explaining the meaning behind my doodles in precise detail — a spark that ignited my passion for branding. I followed my dreams to London, a global creative hub, to learn and grow. A few years later, I founded Brand Purist to help small businesses build impactful brands through insightful strategy and thoughtful design.”

Frequently asked questions

Capabilities and services

  • Brand Purist delivers end-to-end branding: from strategy, positioning, naming and verbal identity to visual systems and implementation. For a deep dive into our offerings, visit our Branding Services page.

  • We design websites, packaging and print collateral entirely in-house, and natively build sites in WordPress, Webflow and Framer. When it comes to print production or packaging manufacturing, we’re equally happy to collaborate directly with your existing suppliers.

  • We don’t offer ongoing marketing or advertising management. While we’re happy to help shape high-level concepts, creative and direction from a brand perspective, we do not set up or manage media campaigns.

  • Maybe, if the rest of your brand foundation is in place. Do you have a solid brand strategy and clear positioning? Do you understand your customers and competitors? Are we building a complete visual identity system? If the answer is yes, we’d love to talk.

  • Yes. You don’t always need a complete brand overhaul to make a real impact. We offer smaller, high-impact entry points: quick Brand Audits to spot gaps, targeted Brand Sprints, website redesigns, and clear messaging refreshes. These are great ways to fix specific problems or test working together before committing to a larger branding or rebranding project.

Industry and fit

  • No. Our brand strategy process is intentionally industry-agnostic. Coming in with fresh eyes allows us to challenge category norms rather than repeat industry clichés. That said, our portfolio already covers tech, fashion, professional services (finance, insurance, consulting), travel, retail and creative sectors.

  • We work best with organisations where the founders or primary decision-makers are directly involved in the process. Company size matters less than commitment. We’re equally comfortable working with ambitious solopreneurs as we are with 50+ person teams, though our sweet spot sits somewhere inbetween.

Team, location and working style

  • You work directly with the senior lead shaping your brand. Brand Purist is a lean, founder-led studio. There are no account managers, no layers of agency bloat. Your work is never passed off to a junior and never outsourced.

  • We operate as a remote-first studio built to work seamlessly across global time zones and business cultures — with clients spanning Europe, North America and Asia. We’re based in London (UK), so face-to-face meetings are always an option if you’re local.

  • As involved as your schedule allows. While we believe the strongest brands are built collaboratively, we regularly work with time-poor founders. They set the overarching vision but trust us to fill in the blanks and run with the execution.

Pricing and investment

  • We believe in pricing transparency. For complete brand development, our custom engagements are shaped by the scope of the project:
    - New brands: £6,500 – £15,500 ($8,300 – $19,700)
    - Refreshes or rebrands: £9,500 – £22,500 ($12,000 – $28,500)
    - Multi-entity, complex rebrands: £35,500 – £85,000+ ($45,000 – $108,000+)
Rollout, implementation and brand architecture work (relevant for larger or multi-brand projects) are scoped separately based on what’s needed. Every proposal is shaped around your specific scope, deliverables and business goals.

  • We split payments across three clear milestones: an initial 50% upfront payment before work begins, 30% upon sign-off of strategy and creative concepts, and the final 20% upon completion and deliverable handover.

  • Yes, through what we call our Embedded Brand Partner model. Rather than a traditional agency retainer where vague monthly hours just disappear, we integrate directly with your leadership or marketing team. We provide ongoing strategic direction, brand guardianship, and continuous design support to keep your brand sharp as your business grows. This retainer-like setup can be combined with Brand Sprints too.

Availability and timing

  • For established businesses requiring comprehensive strategy, stakeholder alignment and a full rollout, engagements typically need a minimum of 8 to 12 weeks. For early-stage startups focused on speed, our Brand Sprint delivers a complete, professional foundation in just 10 days.

  • Giving us 3 to 4 weeks’ notice is ideal. That gives time to sort out the admin, do some initial prep work and plan the schedule properly so we hit the ground running.

  • We intentionally limit how many clients we work with at once so we can actually focus on your brand. Depending on what we’re wrapping up, we can usually start a new project within 2 to 3 weeks.

“Bence took me through a very well-structured critique process, identifying key areas for refinement and delivering an excellent final concept that fit my brief perfectly — all within three weeks. I thoroughly recommend Bence and the Brand Purist team to any startup founders who recognise the value of good branding from the get-go.”
